Kosher pizza can actually be much healthier than regular pizza. This is true because the Jewish dietary laws restrict certain ingredients, and as such, allow pizza makers to get creative when they want to make a kosher pie, often in a healthy way.

The cheese on a kosher pizza must be certified kosher. This means it was inspected multiple times by those looking for impurities and other issues that would have made it non-kosher. This doesn’t necessarily mean it will have fewer calories, but you can be assured that it will not be loaded with preservatives or other chemicals.
Getting Creative
Because there is no meat on a kosher pizza, chefs have to create new and different options for patrons. This can sometimes mean utilizing fresh herbs or other options that regular pizza makers might pass by in favor of more meat. As such, it allows you to know you’re getting a pizza that someone really had to think about in order to create and that uses healthy and pure ingredients that most other pies do not have.
