I am certain that no one read the entire title of this article without stopping and thinking, “There is no such thing as a meat kosher pizza!”. But there is a recipe out there now to make an amazing pizza that contains meat, just no cheese. The meat on this pizza is chicken and pastrami but others could certainly be substituted in if you prefer.
The Process
This recipe calls for a frozen kosher dough to be rolled to fit your pan and prepare according to the instructions. Sauté onions, chicken, sweet chili sauce and pastrami for about 20 minutes, until the onions are clear and the chicken is fully cooked. Spread Gefen Mayonnaise over the per cooked crust while the topping mixture is sautéing. Top the crust with the chicken mixture and bake until the crust is to the desired crispness.
Options
A variety of meats can be added to this recipe. To make a less spicy version the chili sauce can be removed and Gefen Duck Sauce can be substituted. Green peppers can be added to increase the flavor as well. A spicier version can include banana peppers or jalapeno peppers.
Variety is Possible
Choosing to follow the laws of the kosher diet does not have to be limiting in any way. There are many meal options and new dishes being created every day. All that you need to do is think outside the box to create meals that meet the laws of your religious conviction while still offering a flavorful and interesting dining experience.
